Maryam Al Khatrash

Co-founder of The Bustop advertising agency, with more than 10 years experience in marketing & communications before pursuing a career in production. She’s an executive producer and co-showrunner “Taqdeer Al Ehteyaj” and “Min Chair Tahina.” Maryam is now part of the Free Jabriya team, as a creative director.

Jassem Al Qames

After a career in journalism, public relations, and politics, Jassim decided to pursue his dream of being a creator, gathering his experiences to tell stories and examining perspectives on the world we live in.

Following the Arab Spring, he and Ali co-founded Manshoor.com out of Cairo, as a platform for a new generation of Arabs to exchange their ideas. Jassim’s big break came when he developed and directed Tonight: The Eighties, a Kuwaiti musical show that was an instant hit in Kuwait before it toured in the GCC. He then went on to write and showrun Taqdeer AlEhteyaj, a government based sitcom, and Free Jabriya was launched.

Terry Cook

Terry Cook is principal designer and partner of Woodroffe Bassett Design, one of the best-known and most prolific lighting design brands operating in the world of entertainment and architecture today.

Terry Cook’s approach to design is drawn from a wealth of experience working both as a designer and technical realiser. Terry began his career with WBD in 2011. For several years Terry was an associate, completing many jobs around the world, including most notably the London Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Since then he has emerged as a gifted and respected lighting designer in his own right, and in 2019 Patrick Woodroffe and Adam Bassett asked Terry to join WBD as Partner. 

With an extensive production and technical background, Terry brings a unique vision to his lighting designs and a wealth of expertise to the team. He bridges design with the many technical and logistical aspects of his work.

Terry has built an enviable portfolio of high-profile design projects. Recent highlights include Dubai World Expo 2020, Peaky Blinders: The Rise, Dr Who: Time Fracture, Elkron – The world’s first electric stunt show, Secret Cinema’s Star Wars, Back To The Future, Blade

Runner and Casino Royal, West Side Story and Clusters of Light. Terry has worked with artists including Emeli Sandé, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osborne, AC/ DC, Guns N’ Roses, Mariah Carey, Roxette, Spandau Ballet, Elton John, Suede and The Rolling Stones. He has also provided lighting design for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party as well as every Rock in Rio since 2015. With a passion for immersive entertainment and concert touring, when Terry is not designing shows himself, he works in close collaboration with Patrick and Adam to deliver a wide variety of projects globally

Mohammad Almulla

Mohammad Almulla is a Kuwaiti artist and designer who focuses on a diverse range of creative disciplines, including fine art, architecture, and stage/set design. His artistic expression spans from traditional mediums like ink on paper to innovative production projects. Almulla’s work often reflects a deep integration of research and creative experimentation, showcasing a unique blend of architectural theory and artistic practice.

Leo Flint is a video designer and animator and is Creative Director of Studio Flint, a studio specialising in immersive, dynamic and narrative-driven video design for live performance.

Ahmed Boudham

Graduate from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, and one of the leading video artists in Kuwait. A visual artist, he is well recognized for his art development for many TV shows and music videos. He was also part of the video creation and direction team for the theater hit show “Tonight the 80s”.

Soud Alenezi

Soud Alenezi, The visionary behind Sand Globe Productions is a skilled creative director and animation enthusiast with passion for storytelling through the magic of Animation. His journey into the world of animation began a decade ago, once he discovered his obsession for bringing characters and stories to life through the art of Animation, he decided to embark on his own creative adventure by founding Sand Globe Productions.

Under Soud Alenezi’s leadership, the studio has achieved remarkable milestones in the field of Animation. The Sand Globe Production portfolio boasts a diverse array of projects from Animation series to visually stunning commercial advertisements. The team along with energetic passion driven artist and their innovation has earned a great recognition for animation in Kuwait & UAE. The studio embraced a wide range of customers viz. 6Th Street UAE, Fabio series in Shasha, Commercial Animation for Fantasy World etc made an indelible mark in the field of Animation. 

With Soud Alenezi’s unwavering passion, visionary leadership, and dedication to the art of animation, Sand Globe Productions continues to be a trailblazer in the industry, delighting audiences worldwide with their imaginative creations.

Gui Asmar

Born “somewhere” in Lebanon.

I live in my own bubble. Big bubble. Huge bubble. Inside, I’m an image composer—turning the basic into the not so basic. Whether it’s graphics, costumes, or anything else under the sun, I make ugly things pretty. Armed with a master’s degree in Art Direction, I’m always ready to back up my bold critiques of your visual taste. And yes, I will question your choices. Just remember—it’s Gui with an “I,” not a “Y.” No, I won’t tell you why.

Hussa Al Humaidhi

Cultural entrepreneur, composer and musician, Hussa’s passion for cultural shifts and community building has driven her to previously establish NUQAT, a nonprofit organization focusing on conferences & programming for the creative industry. Also previously establishing a branding firm, Raw Design Studio. Hussa gathered over 16 years of experience in the creative industry, communication and activism. Hussa is now part of the Free Jabriya team, as a creative director.

Ahmed AlOud

Ahmed AlOud is a maestro & faculty member at the Higher Institute of Musical Arts of Kuwait. He played the oud with most artists at both private and public concerts, including Rotana events, Sawt Al Khaleej Radio in Qatar, Kuwait Television, Kuwait Radio, and the National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters. Among the most important artists are Mohamed Abdo, Nawal, Rashed Al-Majed, Angham, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Abdullah Ruwaished, Majed Al-Mohandes, Asala, Hussain Al Jassmi, and many others, both inside and outside Kuwait. He was a member of the Higher Institute of Musical Arts band during his high school and bachelor’s studies. He also worked as a music arranger for numerous artists in both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. He served as the maestro of the Al-Liwan Music Band, participating in various radio and television programs, including the radio program Layali Al-Saud, Ahl Al-Fan, Ayyad Al-Kuwait, Sa’at Fun, Barki Ya Kuwait, Layali Al-Eid, and the television programs Ghanawi 1, Ghanawi 2, Fun Show, Thikrayat Al-Alhan, Min Al-Aydein, Dahawi Al-Eid, and recently the television program on Kuwait State Channel Liman Yahwa Al-Tarab – Al-Sultanah.

He also participated in many musical and singing concerts with the Higher Institute of Musical Arts band at most local and international festivals, including the Qurain Cultural Festival and most of the concerts held at Ahmed Baqer Theater in the Higher Institute of Musical Arts. Internationally, he participated in several countries, including the Arab Music Festival at the Cairo Opera House in the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as in Jordan, the UAE, the West, Tunisia, America, Laos, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Tashkent.

He has been an assistant instructor at the Higher Institute of Musical Arts since 2002 in the Music Education Department. He has been a member of the admission examination committee for the Higher Institute of Musical Arts since 2016. He has served as the head of the control unit for the Higher Institute of Musical Arts examinations since 2016. He was also the head of the IT department for the 360 Teams distance learning program in 2020 and the head of student affairs for admissions and registration at the Higher Institute of Musical Arts in 2021.

Ali discovered his passion for media while studying for his MBA in Los Angeles. There he commissioned a writer for a movie script. He is passionate, hard-working, always looking for the bigger picture, with a contagious personality.

Ali is in charge of the business side of Free Jabriya, and is looking to shake the industry by empowering people to grow and follow their own passion

Peter Huntley

Peter Huntley founded Smart in 2017 following a decade of self-producing and working for some of the UK’s most influential producers.

Peter has previously worked for Sonia Friedman Productions, Shakespeare’s Globe, the Really Useful Theatre Company and Jamie Hendry Productions. He was executive producer of Amélie at the Criterion and immersive productions of Peaky Blinders: The Rise, Doctor Who: Time Fracture and The Great Gatsby, general manager of The Wind in the Willows on tour and at the London Palladium and A Christmas Carol at the Dominion and was associate producer of Bend It Like Beckham at the Phoenix. On film he has executive produced Grenfell (Channel 4) and The Wind in the Willows (UK cinemas and BroadwayHD).

Zaina Ammouneh

With over 15 years of experience in the event industry, Zaina co-produced concert/performances for various regional and international performers like Sabah Fakhry, Chehade Brothers, Akon (Sweden); as well as sports events with celebrities such as Michael Owen and Michael Mcdougall. Zaina also co-produced, “The Axis of Evil Tour,” with many other comedy shows to follow in both Kuwait and the region.

Associate producer and essential player in the Free Jabriya Productions team, assisting in communication, production requirements, relationship management and development of all parties involved.

Lujain AlBashash

Lujain Albashash is an associate producer at Free Jabriya, playing a dynamic role in all their subsequent productions. A business graduate from AU, and working towards a masters degree in Project Management, Lujain has over 10 years experience in office management and project coordination and all correlated processes. Lujain finds immense joy in bringing art to life and approaches her work with geniune passion and a spirit of fun, striving to make every project a successful one!

Razan Al Sarraf

Razan AlSarraf is an artist, curator and educator based between Kuwait and Los Angeles. She received an MFA in Art from the California Institute of the Arts and a BFA in Fine Arts with honors from the School of Visual Arts in New York. She has worked on a plethora of creative projects internationally, participating within art exhibitions, theater productions, and more in New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, France, Qatar and Kuwait.

Dima Alansari

Dima Alansari is a seasoned Film, Theatre, and Drama Consultant with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Throughout her career, she has amassed a wide range of accomplishments, fueled by her deep passion for the visual and performing arts. Dima is dedicated to enriching the Kuwait Arts scene and plays a pivotal role in its development.

In addition to her consultancy work, Dima is an accomplished Show Caller and Stage Manager. She leads a team of experts in stage management and show calling, with projects spanning Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Canada.

Anas Khankan

Anas Khankan is a Media Manager and IT Specialist with a BA in Information Technology. With a strong foundation in IT, Anas brings a unique technical perspective to his role, managing media strategies for humanitarian organizations and leading teams in fundraising and program development.

In addition to his technical expertise, Anas holds a second BA in Communication Arts, which has nurtured his passion for film, theatre, and all aspects of technical and backstage work. He thrives in roles that involve Show Calling and Stage Managing, finding great satisfaction in working behind the scenes in creative and dynamic environments.

Munirah Al Shami

Munirah AlShami is a creative consultant, and multimedia designer and artist who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Design from the American University of Sharjah. She’s worked with both large and small scale organizations and brands in developing their visual personality. Her work aims to bridge the gap between traditional creative methods and new mixed media. Her years of experience has led her to specialize in time-based design and media execution within the music, film, and entertainment industries. She’s delved into several projects that specifically deal with bilingual identities. Having to visually communicate to dynamic arab audiences continues to be her motive to create more experimental outcomes within the marketing, art, and design industries in the region.

Khaled Dashti

Khalid Dashti, Founder of Retrodict Agency, is a notable figure in Kuwait’s digital marketing scene. He is known for his data-driven expertise in crafting effective advertisements and digital marketing campaigns across diverse media platforms.

Khalid’s core philosophy revolves around the crucial importance of understanding communities, their cultural intricacies, and unique ways of thinking in achieving digital success. His unwavering commitment to transparency and credibility has played a pivotal role in earning him an exceptional reputation within the industry.

Hasnaa Saab

Hasnaa Saab is a marketing manager with over a decade of experience in PR and media management. She has successfully led media strategies, managed high-profile events, and enhanced brand visibility in both the GCC region and international markets. With a deep commitment to excellence, Hasnaa leverages her extensive expertise to drive success across diverse industries and initiatives.

Abdulaziz AlQabandi

Abdulaziz Alqabandi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Tampa. During his time in the U.S., he played an active role in the National Union of Kuwaiti Students, eventually leading the Alwihda organization. With experience in Kuwait’s private sector across retail, real estate, and tech industries, Abdulaziz specialized in PR and marketing. He now runs his own ventures: Idex Marketing Agency and KWT Magazine. Additionally, he serves as the Event Marketing Executive for Free Jabriya.

Hamad Qalam

Hamad Al Ali Qalam Marketing & PR Co Founder of Qalam Marketing & PR Co and known as “Hamad Qalam,” he is considered as one of the most popular mega-influencers in the GCC region with a fan base of more than 1 million followers. He was classified as the most influential character in Kuwait by Kuwait Public Relations Association. Hamad participated in a lot of youth revolving conferences. He was invited to be a keynote speaker in many events worldwide, sharing his experience in social media, marketing, and public relations. He is the Host and producer of Hamad Show The first talk show in Kuwait, which is considered to have one of the highest television view ratings in Kuwait and the wider Gulf region.

Alongside my work in environmental chemistry, I also work in public relations because I love learning and connecting with people. My creativity is sparked by art, nature and everyday experiences, and I approach life with boundless energy, viewing every challenge as an adventure. Innovation, fairness, and kindness are at the core of everything I do.
